Jr. Wolf Pack U-16 Roster Takes Shape for Next Season

The Jr. Wolf Pack U-16 team is fired up and ready to go for the 2009-2010 season.
In its first season in one of the best youth leagues around, the Atlantic youth hockey league, the Jr. Wolf Pack showed its muscles from time to time.

This season is going to be a lot different.

With a former NHL player Yvon Corriveau behind the bench and Chris Cerrella running the hockey operations, the U-16 team looks like they will have a lot to be proud of.

With returning players such as DaRosa, Bouthot, O'Brien and Buchas the coaching staff has a good core of players to build on and that they did.

They have added a core of players made up of players from the CT Clippers and the CT Wolves and brought in some very good players from other area midget teams to build there roster for this up coming season.

"We are very excited for this season and we think it is going to be a great year for these kids. Yvon is going to do a great job and brings a ton of experience to the table and will teach these young players that a solid work ethic is going to make you a good player down the road. We can not wait to get the season started," said GM Chris Cerrella.

The schedule is set and the team will be ready for their first summer tournament as a team in August at the McCraw Annual Midget showcase played at Champions Arena in Cromwell.

"It is going to be a great test for us and it will show us where we need to improve and what we need to get ready for a long season in the Atlantic youth. I am excited and can not wait to get the team on the ice and working together," said Yvon Corriveau.
