U-16 Midget Update

The Hartford Junior Wolf Pack U-16's completed a very successful weekend winning a pair of games by the same 6 - 1 score!



On Saturday night they hosted the NJ Rockets at Champions Arena in an AYHL battle.



The Jr. Wolfpack worked hard and each forward line contributed to the scoring. The team also got solid goaltending and the defense was steady helping secure the 6-1 win over the pesky Rockets. Once again they out shot their opponent, this time by a 59 - 19 margin.




On Sunday the Pack traveled to Brewster, New York to take on the stubborn Westchester Express. With a second straight game of solid goaltending and solid defense the Jr. Pack offense was able to seal the deal scoring 6 goals for the second straight game.



"You can not win games with out good goaltending and we have been getting that. The team is starting to score goals now too, it is good to see that we are getting a good TEAM effort," said Yvon Corrieveau.



The Jr. Wolfpack will have a two game home stand next weekend as they will battle in two independent games against the NC Wings. The games will be played Saturday @ 5:50pm and Sunday @ 1:10pm.
