Jr. Wolf Pack U-16's Second Consecutive 2-0 Weekend

U-16's Defeat LI Gulls and NJ Devils

It could have been a couple of tough weekends in a row for the U-16's as they have been undermanned due to injuries and suspensions but the team's strong work ethic and balanced scoring helped them to two home victories last weekend by scores of 12-3 and 11-4 over the NJ Devils.

It was more of the same this past weekend -- with two players back from suspension but 2 of the 3 goalies out due to injury, the Pack were victorious over the NJ Devils 6 - 1 in New Jersey on Saturday and mustered a 10-2 victory on Sunday at home over the LI Gulls.

After 12 games in the AYHL U-16 American Division, the Wolf Pack stand in 3rd place with a record of 10-1-1 for 21 points but boast the top winning percentage (.875) in the league.

There are six Jr. Wolf Pack forwards in the top 20 in scoring followed by three defenseman in the top 11. The Pack also have two goalies in the top 6 in the league.

Next weekend, the U-16's host the Western Mass Blades in a non-league game on Friday night followed by a crucial home series Saturday at 4:20pm and Sunday at 10:40am against the 4th place NJ Colonials.
