Hartford Junior Wolf Pack - Junior B
Dan McCarthy - Assistant Coach Junior A and Junior B
Dan McCarthy was selected by the New York Rangers in the 1978 NHL Amateur Draft and made his NHL debut for the blushirts during the 1980-81 season, scoring 4 goals in just five games.
In total, McCarthy played 8 seasons of professional hockey with the Toledo Goaldiggers, Richmond Rifles, Birmingham South Stars, Flint Generals, Baltimore Skipjacks, New Haven Nighthawks, Springfield Indians, and New York Rangers.
McCarthy is the founder and president of the Do It Right Foundation and is the founder of the Connecticut Wolves Junior hockey team. |
Chris Cerrella - Director of Hockey Operations / Junior A Head Coach / Junior B Head Coach / General Manager Midget U-16
A native of North Massapequa, New York, Chris Cerrella played high school hockey for St. Mary's Catholic from 1992-1995. During his tenure the school won three New York High School State Championships.
Chris moved onto play Junior A hockey with the New York Apple Core before advancing into the USHL where he played for the Waterloo Blackhawks for the 1995-96 and 1996-97 seasons. As a Blackhawk, Cerrella averaged a team record of 26 goals per season and was named a USHL 'King of the Hill' All-Star game participant during his two seasons of play.
Following his stint in Waterloo, Chris was awarded a scholarship from Quinnipiac University, (NCAA Division 1, ECACHL) where he played for four years. As a freshman he received All-American honors and finished his college career as the Bobcats All-Time leading scorer, a record he still holds to this day with 205 career points.
After college Cerrella went onto play professional hockey. In his three pro seasons he played in 179 games in five different leagues (ECHL, UHL, CHL, ACHL and WHA2) for the following teams: the Baton Rouge Kingfish ECHL, Memphis Riverkings CHL (Toronto Maple Leafs Affiliate), New Haven Knights UHL, Orlando Seals SPHL, Winston Salem Parrots SPHL, Fayetteville FireAntz SPHL and the Lakeland Loggerheads WHA2.
Chris finished his pro-career with 79 goals, 75 assists for a total of 154 points and 375 PIMS. During Chris' final year of play, 2003-2004, he assumed the role of Player/Assistant Coach for the Lakeland Loggerheads. As a respected team leader on and off the ice, Chris was rewarded for his efforts with an official selection to the starting line-up for the WHA2 All-Star game in Jacksonville, Florida.
Following the conclusion of his playing career in 2004-05, Cerrella moved into the ranks of coaching, taking over as the Assistant Coach/Head Recruiter for the Wentworth Institute Of Technology Leopards (ECAC Northeast, Div. III). As an integral member of the Leopards coaching staff the team achieved a record of 16-10-2, including a semi-final appearance in the DIII conference playoffs. Most recently Cerrella spent three seasons as the Head Coach/Assistant General Manager of the Walpole Express Jr. A Tier III team in the Atlantic Jr. Hockey League.
To his credit Chris has placed over 30 players into college at the Div I and Div III level and also coached in the 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 AJHL All-Star -games. Through his hard work Chris was awarded "COACH OF THE YEAR" in the AJHL at the end of the 2008-2009 season.
Chris is the Head Coach/General Manager of the Hartford Jr. Wolf Pack, part of the AJHL Tier III Junior A, he is also the Head Coach of the Hartford Jr. B Wolfpack proud members of the MJHL. He is also the Eastern Region Scout for the Tri City Storm of the USHL.
Chris resides in Connecticut and has a 7 year old son named CJ.

Connecticut Crease - Full Time Goalie Coaches
The Connecticut Crease is the premier training center for the Hartford Jr. Wolfpack.
Goalies from Division I and III College Hockey, USHL, NAHL, EJHL, AJHL, high school, and youth hockey, have all chosen to train at the Crease. We currently train more than 250 goalies, many of them traveling from Massachusetts, Vermont, New York and New Jersey to train with our instructors.
At the Crease, you will be trained by instructors who stay ahead of current trends. Goalie equipment is getting smaller, shooters are getting better and more accurate. This means goalies need to be stronger technically, better skaters, more patient, more disciplined, and greater athletes than ever before. Ct Crease is staffed with only full-time instructors, which means our goalies are guaranteed to receive professional, modern, well-thought-out lessons, custom-designed to target their individual nee ds. The Hartford Jr. Wolfpack goalies at all levels receive weekly training on and off the ice with one of our Head Instructors.
Emphasis is placed on goalie-specific skating and positioning, as well as stance, save selection, and technique. Training with the Connecticut Crease helps to develop the proper style, practices and habits every goalie needs to make it to the next level.

Pete Asadourian - Strength Coach
Pete Asadourian has been in the field of sport specific training for the past 14 years.
As a former head basketball coach at Rocky Hill High School, he led his team to a State Championship in his first season. Pete's training and coaching style is to motivate and get the most out of his athletes both in the weight room and on the court. Pete is also the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Quinnipiac Men's Basketball Team, has a BA in Sociology and Psychology from Central Connecticut State University, is a Member of the NSCA, Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Golf Fitness Instructor.
He currently works with athletes at the professional, collegiate and high school level, instilling in them the values of hard work, intensity and mental toughness.
