Cerrella Takes Reigns on Junior B Bench As Well

The Hartford Jr. B Wolf Pack hockey team will have Jr. A Head Coach Chris Cerrella behind the bench full time this season.



The 2009-2010 roster has begun to take shape for next season as a few returners from last season have been re-signed as well as some very hungry first season Jr. Hockey players that are going to be looking to catch the eye on Coach Cerrella.



"Last season I Coached and I have decided to step down and be the Assistant for the A and the B this year. Bob Crawford and I just want to sit back and enjoy the teams a little more as we have solidified the organization with a full time coach, a very good full time coach. Chris will be able to teach his own systems to both the A and B teams and run them both exactly the same way. This will prepare the B players more for call ups or preparing them for the next season hopefully at A. Having the A, B and Midget U16 is a great way to continue to build the most powerful Junior organization on the East Coast and that's what our goal is," said Owner Dan McCarthy.



The Jr. B Wolf Pack will be practicing and playing games back to back with the A team and the plan to have Chris Cerrella on the bench and running practices for both teams will only increase the level of development for all the Jr. Wolf Pack players.



"We just talked about it and realized it is hard for Bob and Mac to make the full time commitment now. They hired me to build an empire here and that is what I am going to help them do. They have given me all the resources I need and we are just looking forward to continuing our success. I am very excited about coaching the B's full time this season I think we are going to have a great season at all 3 of our levels this season," said Chris Cerrella.
