Jr. Wolf Pack Continue College Placement Excellence

Although the 2009-2010 season has had a rough start to it, the Hartford Jr. Wolf Pack has continued its climb in the college hockey placement world.
With almost a dozen players who have already gone on college visits this season and one player ready to commit to a Div 3 school, the Jr. Wolf Pack organization continues to shine in college hockey placement in the Atlantic Junior Hockey League.
With over ten college commitments last season, Coach Cerrella has just added to the laundry list of college hockey players coming out of the organization.
"We have had a ton of college interest and that is the important thing. We have one player waiting for his acceptance at a very good div 3 engineering school and we have several more who are having admissions readings done, for us that is more important than winning games. Players come here to play junior hockey with the aspirations to go to college more than anything else and we are showing that no matter where we are in the standings our players will go to college. The best team in the league is the one who sends the most inspiring student athletes off to college," said Chris Cerrella.
The Jr. Wolf Pack is in its sixth season of operation and has become on of the best places to play Junior hockey on the East Coast. The teams ownership also owns the Champions Skating Center where the team has its own carpeted locker room, sports specific training facility and a synthetic ice sheet for its goalies all under one roof.
"We believe in hockey excellence and we believe in college placement. To us that is what matters the most, we are her to develop our players and move them on to where they belong in the college hockey world. We strive to be the best and we believe in our players and most of all we believe in our staff. The Junior Wolf Pack is a premiere place to play junior hockey," said Owner Bob Crawford.
