Jr. Wolf Pack Plans Big For College Showcase Weekend

The Jr. Wolf Pack is giving players from near and far more and more reasons to believe that they have the premier place to play Junior Hockey these days.



After a playoff run, 13 players in college hockey and one player drafted in the QMJHL draft what more can an organization do to continue to strive for excellence.



They can have a Parents Weekend for not only their own organization but for the entire AJHL hockey league.



At the end of September the Jr. Wolf Pack will be hosting the Season Kick-Off College Showcase in Simsbury, CT where college hockey scouts from all over the country will come in to get an early look at the talent the AJHL has to offer.



This is a perfect weekend for parents to come in from all over the country and catch a weekend of games and enjoy a get together being organized by the Jr. Wolf Pack.



On Saturday, September 26th, there will be a special COMEDY SHOW for the whole Jr. Wolf Pack Organization and they have also generously reached out to all the players, parents of all 12 AJHL members as well as league staff and officials.



The idea of this event is overall league unity.



"We were looking to show the league, players and families that we are more than just hockey. We want kids to come to the Jr. Wolf Pack and to the AJHL to play great hockey and have a great over all experience. This event is going to be big and we are ready for it and we are going to look to improve on it and continue to make it more and more exciting for years to come."



Players, parents and staff will be able to enjoy the 3 NYC talented comedians who have all been seen live on different comedy networks. It will be an exciting weekend and a great experience for the whole league.



"We want to run the best college showcase out there. This event is going to be a blast and we hope all the other teams join us, it is a great opportunity for the staff, players and parents to get to know each other off the ice. We are looking forward to hosting thi s event and we are looking forward to another great season in the AJHL," said Owner Dan McCarthy.
